Thanks, it's been a great bike, I've had it roughly 2 years now.

So far, I've upgraded

crane creek 40 headset
Shimano bottom bracket
Avid bb7 brakes
Wtb nano tires
ODI grips

I'm also in the middle of collecting parts to make it a 1x10 setup with mostly shimano XT components.

My favorite mod so far has been my Mavic wheelset. It changed everything...

Yes a new wheelset is definitely on the "to do" list.

I found a takeoff giant s-xc wheelset recently but I kept reading they were pretty heavy. I know the deception wheelset is even heavier, but I decided to hold off for something lighter.

Which Mavic set do you have?

I got the Crossride's from a shop here and they charged me the same price as the Crossone's. Any set will be great. Sram makes some pretty badass wheels also.

Haven't been on BBB in a while and I haven't been riding either due to a knee injury. But now the knee is better, the weather here in Atlanta is cooler and I'm about to get back in the saddle.

Here's a pic of my Deception once again. I posted a few pics a few months ago when I painted the frame with Black Plasti-Dip and so far the Plasti-Dip has held up OK.
