For 2 bills the Saber is an interesting low budget platform to start with, but it still needs a fork, a real shock, wheels, a rear disk brake free hub...etc...etc....

I've been wanting to tear one of these down and see what parts would be left that I could actually work with, retrofit the suspension pivots with real bearings, etc, but lately I don't ride any of my 26ers much these days, so why bother.

But I've found that blue shock springs in a fake shock are better than black or red...how about you guys?

I like the advertisment of "Light Weight Alloy"... lol, but really, I like the frame.I Agree you could build a nice ride from that!

Your Walmart seems to be better stocked than the 2 near me, which have nearly empty bike racks.

Yeah...what's up with that? It appears you can get any bike you want if you live in AZ

I have one of these and so far all I am running from the original bike would be the seat post, seat, handlebars, rear shock, and frame. I have replaced everything else. Rear shock is the next thing to go.
