Windsor cliff 4500

Just picked up a "new to me" '10ish model Windsor Cliff 4500. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Got it and a Saris Bones 2 bike rack for $250. Will post pics in a bit.

Here are a few pics. Decided to go back to a 26er. I just feel more comfortable vs a 29er.

Wow...
congrats on your purchase... looks like you got a good deal... I like everything about it..!!! nice frame...!!! and great parts on it...

I also have been riding my 26"ers more lately... I feel like I have to work a little harder on them, and I need it... I have got to loose some pounds...!!! ALOT OF POUNDS..

I really wish I had a 26" Mongoose hardtail frame...!!! either that or a fox shock with pro-pedal... at my weight I really loose a lot of momentum when I stand up and pedal on a climb..!! talk about burn..!!! I really feel those climbs and I usually don't make it all the way to the top...

I could really use a good hardtail like the one you just snagged...!!! ;)
I really like it... good job...!!!

Yeah, it's got a decent drivetrain on it now, so I'm not really going to do anything in that dept until it needs repair. I may look for a new crankset, but only for replaceable rings. The Truvativ on it only has a replaceable small ring.

I'll probably end up swapping out the majority of parts though. I'm thinking Suntour Raidon fork or similar, 180mm Avid elixir brakes, possibly a new wheelset (depends on how these hold up). May go 9 speed ( I believe the Deore is compatible with it) since I'll have to buy shifters with hydro brakes anyway.

It's too bad your not close to me. I've got a 2007 GT aggressor sitting in my garage that I have no use for. It's a large frame which I don't fit. My plan has been to build it and sell it but it keeps getting set aside for other projects, lol. I tend to collect too many projects. Right now I've got this bike to build, my KHS FS build, an 83 caprice wagon that'll be getting a big block as soon as I find one, and come March I'll be getting some sort of muscle car project.

Nice...

I've been wanting to find and build a 73' Nova Super Sport...!!!

one of these days... when I have the $'s and I find one available, I will get that car and build an evil black on black beast of a car..!

in the mean time, I have too many project as is... with the Tech 4, Deception, and a few upgrades I would love to do on my XR-Pro..!
and then I have to rebuild a 360 mercruiser and restore my boat... tOoooo many projects not enough money...

and then I have other back burner stuff like a Schwinn beater... Mongoose Paver, another Tech 4 and now I just picked up another blackcomb frame...

I need to stop accumulating projects and get some finished... :P

You know you'd have a lot more extra cash if you would just forget the boat, lol. As they say b.o.a.t. (break out another thousand).

I'm getting the caprice in trade for a windows 8 tablet that I simply don't like. I have a buddy with a build-able 454... Just makes perfect sense, lol. Come march I'll be looking for a 66-72 GM A-body, like a Chevelle, Skylark, or Lemans; MAYBE a Cutlass. If I can't find one I'll probably settle for a 70's-80's Chevy SWB 2wd pickup. The trucks have just been done to death, though for some reason I still like them.
