This has been on Craig's forever. I think the price he want is really high, so how much would you give for great condition Rockadile?

Too old a bike to consider paying more than 50 bucks at tops.Unless that frame is titanium or the bike has a spot in a museum then modern day hybrids from Walmart are superior. The local lbs here where I live has piles of rock shox judy suspension on their way to the metal recycling center.29ers are the rage now and even my trek fuel carbon 100 is considered unsellable.China produces so many bikes a year that nowadays old bikes just don't hold value like they once did.

Hmm... maybe compares to Treks and Specializeds from that same year. Not anything modern. A brand new top of the line Rockadile appears to go for $210 online.

It's not even a hybrid. He just put some bullhorns on it, and some street tires. It's a mountain bike turned hybrid. $80 max.

Somebody's mommy took away their xbox. Him and his buddies sit around smoking way too much pot trying to brainstorm how to raise money for a new one.

The chain is off of the chainrings? lol.. Looks like an extension on the stem/headset. The shifters look like newer Shimano thumb/triggers.
The rear derailleur is an old design that I see on road bikes and mountain bikes... And the wheel size could drive you crazy. Might be any one of several 26" wheel size standards. Clips on those old bear trap pedals...
It's a hybrid if it wants to be, but I'm guessing Falkon is dead on. It's a mountain bike with some stuff added to "Hybridize"

but $80 is more than I'd pay for something Not original

Older topic, but personally I wouldn't pay over $50-60 for this, and everyone here knows that I'm a certifiable Mongoose nut. Fact is that it's a cheap bike at this point, considering that the Rockadile was never a expensive bike to begin with, so it has less value as a relic.
My bikes: Mongoose Valiant, Tyax Elite, Switchback SS, Blackcomb, and the old DXR

Other: Origin8 Uno SS/fixie
