Wide-tire bicycles with flotation are great in snow or on sand.

Front and rear brake, looks perfect for hopping around on the back tire at the beach or in the snow.. like a good BMX with a fat tire set :D

Absolutely agreed!
On THAT bike anyway. Kent has some really good offerings and some not so good. As all bike makers do :)

Yep, agreed with that for sure. With BBB's, the manufacturers seem to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks. Some are winners, some are losers. Kent has some good winners.

That bike looks interesting, have to see if it sticks!

I doubt this Kent will stick, it's not awful, there's just better offerings out there if you're willing to spend $50 more. The Kent has tires slightly wider than 3" where the Mongoose Massif has 4" ATB tires. A big difference in sales can be found in what Walmart has stocked on the shelves and what has to be ordered online, people who buy kids bikes want them assembled and ready to leave the store, connoisseurs like us don't mind the shipped to order process since we are DIYers pretty much and pride ourselves in doing final assembly. :D
