Diamondback Axis Sport 27.5

Anybody have any experience with this bike from Diamondback. I want a 27.5 and this seems to be a good foundation to start with.

Seems a bit pricey. A $700 bike, with 8 speed gearset. And u will want to upgrade that fork right away.

Funny you say something about the price. Right now Dick's Sporting Goods is offering this bike for $450+shipping online only pricing. (THIS SALE IS OVER)

That seems like a real good deal.

That is much better.... But that 8 speed bothers me. For that money id still want 9 speed cassette. That is kind of a pricey upgrade if you choose to do it later. Cassette, derailler, shifter, etc

I like it at 450.00. Leaves room for upgrades down the line. The front fork mainly. The 8 speed drivetrain doesn't bother me. You should have ample gears for trail riding. :)
