New choice available for 27.5“

The industry is coming out with new riding formats and 27.5 looks like a keeper. Here's where you talk it over with other riders.

I was going to have all these in the review but I guess I can link them later or something.. :)
I had planned to do some real product shots (back lighted white board, etc) but most of my reflectors and strobes are already packed for an upcoming wedding - and unfortunately the dinky camera flash was too little/much for indoor balancing - - so you get natural sunlight shots in the backyard.. :P

Oh.. In response to an over anxious inquiry, heh..
The bicycle 'size' is 17.5" (CBB to TST) and the stand-over height is 28.5" (Measured inline with the shock hanger bolt on the top tube.)

Thanks!! It could use some improvements but try to find a 27.5 frame for $299 in FS. Even if you don't mod the hell out of it. Great looking bike!!

Just looking at that last pic, Those pivot arms look like they could be swapped side to side and a longer shock fitted.
But that is one sharp bike..

Exactly.. There are many things I am looking for (evaluating if it were) such as the maximum tire size that can be used on larger wheels (700/29.5") etc.. as well as the shock length.
The interest in shock length isn't necessarily to create any more travel though that can be achieved with a slightly longer shock (8" for example) with the arms in the default position. My main interest is simply in the flexibility and availability of different lengths - being able to use whichever can be found the cheapest, as opposed to being locked into one length. In changing the orientation of the arms (four possible positions) my measurements show it will support from 7-3/8" to 8-5/8" shock without changing the frame height or geometry of the suspension itself!

I am in the middle of disassembly to compile a component list and measurements, so more to come.
So far I like the frame, geometry, and implementation of the suspension.
I am also working on a modification that would allow the rear travel to have no limitation other than the tire hitting the seat tube. A simple (H) block that bolts in between the seat stay lugs (top bolt of the suspension arms) to maintain rigidness and support of the seat stay section, and then allow removal of the welded bridge. That would eliminate the bridge from hitting the seat tube allowing one to tune the amount of travel well beyond its initial design if desired. =) Though maximum travel length will technically be limited by reaching the linear pivot threshold of the arms, it may provide another 1/2" maybe.
