So, long awaited update. My kid picked out his colors, and the frame is getting powder coated. I forgot to widen the rear dropouts, so that will come later. I also think i need spacers for the front axle. lots of space between the dropouts and hub. When I get back to VA, pics and headset install happen!!!

Just a preview of the frame powdercoat. The color is lollypop red. The fork is lollypop blue. Now I need a microdrive 3/8th rear wheel.

I actually wouldn't mind it, if I didn't think they would fit the skyways. Ordered another set with a 3/8ths rear. (Can only find them in sets). I'll be selling the other wheels as a set (3/8th front, 14mm rear with 9 tooth cog) and it'll come with the chainring as well (the one I have is for a 22mm axle. And no adapters. I have a 19mm axle.)

So, just waiting on parts to come in. I'll give the parts list up in a bit.

Lol. They cost about. $140 on the website I bought them from. I want $120 (I smuged the rear wheeel with my oily hands. But I'm sure it could be cleaned), and it's coming with the 25 tooth chainring. I just don't want them around, because i'd be tempted to build another bike. Lol.

Well, bike is done. Kid rode across the yard, and now it's in the garage. Fell victim to video games. Yay. Hopefully, I can get him on it this weekend.

Here it is. I got some ride time on it. It's weird to ride BMX. I'm so used to bigger bikes. It took me a while just to get a decent bunny hop to jump curbs. Lol. Bit, I did manage to set up the rear brake well enough to lock up the rear wheel.
