My "sickness" continues. Got this in a pawn shop today.

Nice, wish I could afford scores like that around here. Wife would kill me, already have to get a storage unit. Any more info about it?

Well it's a 2000 Haro Shredder. Bikepedia says it's full chromoly which is very nice. Paid more than I wanted to but still felt it wasn't bad. $60 for it. Don't know what I'll end up doing with it. I have a soft spot for Haros. My main bike now is a Haro Blammo...and it's this same color.

Full chromoly, can't go wrong there. There I was complaining about finds and scored a super nice like new Giant Sedona hybrid and 97 Schwinn Frontier mountain bike in excellent condition at a local DAV store.

New Hsro being built.
The kid is 5'11" 200 lbs (14 yrs old) so the frame is large or 'Big'.
As you can see it has 'Box' components (tires, rims, forks, cranks, etc)
So that makes it a Big Box Bike, hehe. .

Nice find! Brings back memories of my 1986 Haro Master freestyle bike. 48 spoke wheels had just come out and I rode them hard.

I like it. I assume with a setup like that he's actually going to race it? Is that Box fork carbon?

The fork is carbon. I believe it's the Haro citizen frame. The frame is carbon for sure. Maybe the crank arms and other parts?
He will be racing local (AZ) and national bmx races as well as the worlds this summer in South Carolina. He is a factory Haro rider. He doesn't get paid but does get the latest bike and riding gear free every year.

That's really cool! If he's sponsored then I guess he's a smooth rider. But I would have a hard time trusting carbon forks myself in BMX. I know at some point I'm going to make a mistake.
