Proof of the end times? DK at Walmart

Postby Fast8 » Mon Oct 10, 2011 1:25 pm

I was walking through the bike isle today and came across three DK bikes. Cleveland, Fury and General Lee. This should make the LBS folks give it up.

Very interesting!!! But I'm not sure it will make the LBS folks surrender. For one thing, some of them consider just entering into a WalMart store as traitorous to the USA in general and bicycling in particular. And, more specifically, MTBs.

Where is this paragon of WM stores? The one in my town barely gets beyond a NEXT Power Climber. :P

In Rogers, AR. Store #001. Rogers is about 2 miles from the facist home office of the traitorous company in Bentonville. The DK bikes are showing up on the web sight as well.

Here is the Fury. Next to it is a 24" Mongoose DJ Bike that looks pretty nice too.

The super walmart by me had the Cincinatti too. My wife wants the cleveland because she likes the purple and green lol. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw all of the DK's on the rack.

Sure thing.

I'm considering one of these bikes. Probably the Cleveland. The only thing holding me back is age. I'm 37 and not getting any younger. I used to ride freestyle back in the 80's and 90s. You guys think I'm too old?

Age is just a number man, I ride with quite a few guys who are 45 and older, and let me tell you, you can't tell when they're hitting 15+mph through the woods like its nothing

Never too old to bike. I see guys in their 50s and 60s out at the singletrack and some of them are still really fast.

Thanks, the cleveland is the best one IMO since it's chromoly, the fury is a close second. the other two cincinatti and general lee are hi-ten steel but look pretty damn cool for the price.

I'm 29 and i thought i was too old, but then i realized I'm not as crazy as my younger days so why not have fun with one around the neighborhood.

Um... I'm 68 and I still ride. And I'm far from being the only old guy on the forum.
