I like this crankset much more than the original. 50/34 compact. Not much lighter than the original, but fat more useful.

this... is a mountain bike derailleur. Stock on the bike. Finally got it perfect, but will be swapped for something else when I feel like it.

yep. I'm doing this. It was tough to find a 1" threadless carbon fork that wasn't getting bid on like wild fire.

Cheap

and because I'm cheap, I'm using the stat stem, because it's the right length, takes my handlebar, and still a good part.

Now if only I could find my 1" to 1 1/8" shim...

So, I'm getting stupid on this bike. Trying to do a sram apex 10 speed setup. Might be swapping out the crankset too. Trying to drop weight on this bike. But that will leave me with more extra parts!

Well, things are looking up! Auction ends tonight and I'm still the lead man. Let's just hope no one out bids me! After that, a cassette and chain will round me out. Maybe a carbon fiber seat post and maybe stem /handlebar will finish the bike.

Thanks To the Beach! That helped a lot. But even another bid! 160 shipped for front and rear derailleurs and STI shifters. I find the shifters for that much alone! Now for a lighter cassette, and maybe a new crankset later on.

Going for a weight loss on the bike, hardcore, now. Found out that my crankset is a sram s100 2.2.apparently, they weigh 1025g with BB. The FSA gossamer I'm shooting for is 797g withough BB (claimed) The bb is 91g (claimed). Now a cassette and the full carbon set, saddle, and the wheelset will be the next heaviest thing, other than the frame.

Boom! Won the gossamer crankset! Auction went higher than I wanted, but just a little over my $60 budget after shipping. So now that's afull SRAM apex shifter/derailleur group, and FSA gossamer 46/36 crankset with BB. Now for chain and cassette.

My sram crankset is 50/34. Reason I bought this gossamer? 110 bcd, just like the sram crankset. I just need to swap rings! BOOOM!

Next paycheck (or two, from the way things are looking) full carbon set from AliExpress, then I'm done.

Most leftover parts go on another bike if I can find a frame. That will be the "trainer". Lol
