Nope I just put them on. I used appliance epoxy paint so I hope it is a lot more durable than the duplicolor last time.

Bought some Bell cables and ergo grips today. Still waiting on friction shifters, brakes and brake levers to come in.

That does look good. I love reading the posts about repaints. I'm a novice painter. I like doing it, but I don't see how you all are doing this in the middle of the winter. LOL I guess everyone has access to spray booths except me. I have to settle on my wood shop.

BTW - that appliance paint is some durable stuff. It's not as durable as powder coat or the base coat/clear coat systems, but it's a tough enamel. I've been spraying stuff with enamel once I decided not to mess with the toxic BBCC stuff, and I'm rather impressed with it.
