RAW Bikes Direct Windsor Wellington

Postby BoomerBrian » Sun Jan 11, 2015 9:21 am

A couple of years ago I bought this bike from Bike's Direct. It has been a great bike but I have always hated the fonts on the stickers and they are under the clear coat. I have decided to go RAW on this bike. More pics and parts list to come.

Seems like All of the BD bikes look really plain. I've often wondered how much better one would look if the right person got a hold of one

I agree. Hoping to add a little style to this one.

Bike is stripped and first pass of sanding and polishing is down. Holy crap it is time consuming.

I picture it with a carbon fork, bars and seatpost..then some colored anodizing of choice to really set it off...Raw is something that will end up on my motobecane 550HT as the final touch.
