My GS-700 Now

Postby Ruckis » Sun Mar 15, 2015 3:42 pm

Upgrades:

Iron Horse saddle ($2.50 at my local Walmart on clearance)
Sunspeed seatpost
Shimano Alivio V-Brakes
Stripped and Dremeled the rims to get rid of the brake squeal
Plan to upgrade the crank set next and then the drive train.

Put some more agressive cyclecross tires on it and ride the shit out of that thing. :D

This is strictly my around town roadie. If I do anything thing else it may be a deore drive train upgrade and maybe some new rims the tourney components have held up surprisingly well, though they need some adjusting. Otherwise the bike is pretty solid. I may go to a single speed in the future, we'll see.
